This Privacy Policy explains how Rococo Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when merchants use Export and Import Pages and Articles Privacy Policy (the “App”), a Shopify app used to export and import pages, blogs, and blog articles.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the data needed to provide the App, which may include:

  • Shopify store information (for example: store domain, shop ID)
  • App configuration and job records (export/import status, logs, error details)
  • Content data processed by the App (pages, blogs, blog articles)
  • Technical data (for example: timestamps, basic usage logs)

We do not collect customer payment card data.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Authenticate with Shopify and operate the App
  • Export, validate, and import content requested by the merchant
  • Track job history and show results/errors
  • Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Shopify Data and Permissions

The App accesses Shopify data only through permissions granted by the merchant (such as content read/write scopes). We use this access solely to provide app functionality.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information.
We may share data only with:

  • Service providers that host or support the App (under confidentiality obligations)
  • Authorities when required by law
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the App and meet legal or operational requirements. Merchants may request deletion of app data, subject to legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Merchant Rights

Depending on applicable law, merchants may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their data. Contact us to submit a request.

8. International Transfers

If data is processed in countries other than your own, we take reasonable steps to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

9. Children

The App is intended for businesses and not directed to children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
