B2B eCommerce agency · Shopify Partner
B2B eCommerce agency for platforms built around how your business sells.
Rococo is a UK B2B eCommerce agency that plans, builds and grows B2B eCommerce platforms, trade ordering and the integrations behind them, for businesses that need more than a standard online store.
For manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and brands growing a trade channel, from platform to marketing.

Trusted by brands that expect results
From the UK’s largest independent fibre distributor to brands adding a trade channel to their store.

B2B eCommerce is not just putting products online.
The right B2B platform should reduce friction for customers and remove unnecessary admin from your team.
B2B buying is rarely as simple as a standard online checkout. Customers may need account-specific pricing, repeat ordering, quote requests, trade terms, restricted products, stock visibility, customer documents, approval processes or links to internal systems.
A strong B2B eCommerce platform needs to reflect how your business actually sells, not force your customers and team into a generic consumer store model.

Won through search, kept through service. The platform and the marketing have to work together.
B2B eCommerce platforms, integrations and growth.
Every B2B eCommerce project is shaped around your sales process, customers, internal team, systems and operational requirements.
B2B eCommerce platforms
Shopify B2B, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce or bespoke, chosen around your catalogue, pricing logic and the way your customers buy.
Trade portals
Logged-in ordering for trade customers, dealers and distributors, with their own prices, quick order and reorder from history.
B2B portal developmentA trade channel on your consumer store
Wholesale and trade buying added to the store you already run, without a second platform to manage.
ERP and system integration
Business Central, Sage, Xero, Brightpearl, CRM and warehouse systems connected, so prices, stock and orders stay in step.
Migration and consolidation
Several sites, or an ageing platform, moved onto one, with products, customers, order history and every URL carried across.
B2B growth marketing
SEO, paid search and email that bring trade buyers to the platform and keep them reordering, reported on orders and revenue.
Built around your systems, not separate from them.
B2B eCommerce often needs to work around existing operational systems, not replace them overnight. Rococo plans platforms around the tools your business already uses, such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, stock management tools, product data sources and internal workflows.
Where required, we plan integrations with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRM platforms, stock systems, product databases and customer account records.
ERP and Business Central planning
Planning around ERP requirements, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central where relevant.
CRM and sales workflows
How enquiries, quotes, accounts and customer relationships move through your sales process.
Product and stock data
How product information, availability and technical details can be presented more clearly.
Account-based journeys
Supporting different customer types, trade accounts, pricing rules and access requirements.
Ordering and quote workflows
Helping customers order, reorder, request quotes or send enquiries with less friction.
Reporting and operational visibility
What the business needs to see, measure and improve after launch.
B2B eCommerce marketing that fills the platform.
Plenty of B2B builds stop at launch. A new platform with no trade buyers on it is a cost, not a channel, so we stay on and grow it.
The people who built it run the marketing, which means SEO, ads and email work with the platform rather than around it. Everything is reported on trade orders and revenue, not traffic.

SEO for how trade buyers search
Product codes, specifications and trade and wholesale terms, on category and product pages built to rank.
eCommerce SEOPaid search for new trade accounts
Google Ads aimed at account sign-ups and first orders, not one-off retail baskets.
Paid mediaReorder reminders and account email
Klaviyo flows timed to each account’s buying cycle, plus targeted news on ranges and price changes.
KlaviyoMoving customers off phone and email
Invites, onboarding and conversion work on the trade sign-up, so existing accounts actually order online.

“The portal will change the way we sell, and it is ready to scale as we connect Business Central. From the first conversation their attitude was, leave it with us, we will find the right way to build it.”
Katie JohnsonCommercial Director, Networks CentreB2B eCommerce built around growth.
Rococo works with UK eCommerce businesses that need stronger commercial growth. Networks Centre is the full platform story. These are the same skills a B2B platform needs, proven on other projects.

If you are still deciding between platforms, What is B2B eCommerce? covers the options, and our Shopify Plus agency page covers B2B on Shopify specifically. The wider market picture is in our UK eCommerce statistics.
- ERP and accountsMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage, Xero, Brightpearl and Unleashed, with customer specific pricing, credit limits and stock flowing both ways.
- OrderingQuick order by SKU, CSV upload, reorder from history, saved lists, and PunchOut or cXML for customers who buy through their own procurement systems.
- PlatformsShopify B2B and Shopify Plus, WooCommerce with B2B extensions, or a bespoke build when neither fits the catalogue or the pricing logic.
- Warehouse, CRM and email3PL and WMS feeds, HubSpot and Dynamics CRM, and Klaviyo for reorder reminders and account based email.
Not every B2B platform needs to be built from scratch.
Sometimes the answer is a bespoke build. Often it is the platform you already have, set up properly. Shopify opened its core B2B features to its standard plans in April 2026, which changed the maths for a lot of trade businesses.
We build on all four routes below, so we have no reason to push one. This is how we decide before anyone commits to a build.
Shopify B2B
For a trade channel on a store you already run.
- You get
- Company profiles, net payment terms, quantity rules and volume pricing, quick order lists, reorders and PO numbers.
- Where it stops
- Three B2B catalogues in total, so pricing every account differently hits a ceiling. No deposits or partial payments.
Shopify Plus B2B
For account-level pricing at scale.
- You get
- Unlimited catalogues assigned to each company and location, deposits and partial payments, and a trade experience separate from consumers.
- Where it stops
- ERP-driven pricing and complex approvals still need integration work alongside it.
WooCommerce B2B
For businesses already invested in WordPress.
- You get
- Full control of the code and hosting, with B2B extensions for account pricing, ordering and quotes.
- Where it stops
- Every B2B feature is another plugin to maintain, and large catalogues need careful performance work.
Bespoke build
For pricing logic or ordering no platform holds.
- You get
- A platform shaped exactly around how your buyers order, connected to the systems behind it, as we built for Networks Centre.
- Where it stops
- The highest build cost, and the platform is yours to maintain.
Three ways to run a B2B project, and what each costs.
Pick the shape that fits the risk. Prices for each are in the FAQs below.
Fixed scope build
A platform with a defined feature set, a fixed price after discovery, and a dated plan. Most projects run 12 to 16 weeks; ERP integration and large catalogues sit at the top of that range.
Phased build
Ordering and accounts first, then pricing and integration, then quotes and approvals. Each phase earns before the next is funded. This is how Networks Centre was delivered.
Growth retainer
Support, improvements and the marketing that fills the platform: SEO for trade terms, paid search, account based email and conversion work, reported on orders and revenue.

Every project includes 90 days of monitoring after launch with fixes included, a written handover covering the platform, integrations and admin, and a GDPR compliant, UK hosted setup where the platform allows it. Everything we do for Shopify stores, B2B included, is on our Shopify agency page.

The people who scope it are the people who build it.
Jake Boase and Matthew Jones, the co-founders, scope every project and stay on it. The build and the integration are done by our own team in Arundel, West Sussex, not outsourced, and the marketing sits with the same people.

B2B eCommerce agency FAQs.
Common questions about B2B eCommerce platforms, trade ordering, ERP and CRM integration, cost, timelines and growing a trade channel.
What is a B2B eCommerce agency?
A B2B eCommerce agency plans, builds and grows online ordering platforms for business buyers: trade customers, dealers, distributors and wholesale accounts. That means online ordering, account-based pricing, quote workflows and customer portals. A good B2B eCommerce platform reflects how your business actually sells, rather than treating buyers like consumer checkout shoppers.
Is B2B eCommerce different from a normal online store?
Yes. A standard online store is built around individual consumer checkouts. B2B eCommerce supports logged-in accounts, customer-specific pricing, repeat ordering, quote requests, restricted products, trade terms and integrations with ERP, CRM and stock systems.
Can you build trade ordering portals?
Yes. Trade portal development is a core part of our B2B eCommerce work: online ordering portals for trade customers, dealers, distributors or repeat buyers who need a faster, account-based way to order. Our B2B portal development page covers portals in depth, with an example portal you can try.
Can a B2B eCommerce platform connect to an ERP system?
ERP and CRM integration depend on the systems and APIs available. We plan platforms designed to connect with the tools your business already uses, including ERP, CRM, stock and product data systems, and scope integrations carefully against real requirements.
Can you work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?
We can plan B2B eCommerce platforms around ERP environments including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The exact approach depends on your current setup, data structure and integration goals, which we scope during the planning stage.
Do we need a fully bespoke platform?
Not always. Sometimes the right answer is a bespoke build. Sometimes it is a smarter ordering journey, better product structure, customer login area or a platform that works more effectively around existing systems. We help you decide before committing to the build.
Can you help us plan the platform before building it?
Yes. Most B2B eCommerce projects start with a Growth Strategy & Audit so the business process, customer journeys, systems and platform requirements are properly mapped before any build work begins.
How much does a B2B eCommerce project cost?
B2B platforms start from £20,000, with a fixed price after discovery rather than an estimate that grows. Larger platforms with ERP integration, multiple customer types or several sites consolidated into one are scoped and priced per phase. Post launch support and growth retainers start from £4,000 a month, rolling monthly.
How long does a B2B build with ERP integration take?
Most B2B builds run 12 to 16 weeks from kick off to launch. ERP integration is usually the long pole, because the data mapping, pricing logic and stock rules have to be agreed with whoever runs the ERP before design starts. We map the integration in discovery, build it early and test it on real customer accounts and orders before anyone else sees the site.
Is ERP integration and data migration included in the quote?
Yes, when it is in scope, and we say exactly what is in scope. The proposal lists the systems being connected, the data flowing each way, the products, customers and pricing being migrated, and what is excluded. The usual extras are things nobody knew existed until discovery, which is why discovery comes first.
What pricing model do you use: fixed, phased or retainer?
All three, depending on the project. A defined build is a fixed price. A larger platform is usually phased, with ordering and accounts first, then pricing and integration, then quotes and approvals, each phase priced and earning before the next. Ongoing support and growth is a rolling monthly retainer from £4,000 a month.
How much of our team’s time will it need?
Less than you expect after discovery, more than you expect during it. Discovery needs a few hours a week from whoever owns sales, the ERP and the product data, because those are the decisions that shape the platform. After that it is a weekly check in and sign off at each stage. We do not need a full time project manager on your side.
Do you outsource any of the work?
No. Jake Boase and Matthew Jones, the co-founders, scope every project and stay on it, and design, build, integration and marketing are done by our own team in West Sussex. There is no offshore build team and no handover after the pitch.
What do we receive at handover?
A written handover covering the platform, the integrations and how to administer them, admin training for your team, the redirect map and data migration records, and 90 days of monitoring after launch with fixes included. You own the platform, the code where it is bespoke, and every account and licence.
Do you offer maintenance and support after launch?
Yes. Every launch includes 90 days of monitoring with fixes included. After that most businesses keep us on a rolling monthly retainer covering support, improvements and the marketing that fills the platform, from £4,000 a month. Support only retainers are available where you just need a safe pair of hands.
Can we restrict catalogue visibility and pricing per customer?
Yes. Customer specific catalogues, price lists, minimum quantities, credit terms and payment methods can all be set per account or per customer group, and pulled from the ERP where it holds that logic already. Trade customers see their prices and products, and nobody else sees them.
Can you migrate an existing B2B site rather than rebuild it?
Often, and we will say which is cheaper. If the current platform is sound and the problem is the ordering journey, the pricing logic or a missing integration, we fix that rather than rebuild. If the platform is the constraint, we migrate products, customers, order history and URLs to the new one with every legacy URL redirected, as we did for Networks Centre.
Can you market our trade channel as well as build it?
Yes. The people who built the platform can run the SEO for trade and product code searches, paid search for new trade accounts, and Klaviyo reorder reminders and account email. It is reported on trade orders and revenue, on a rolling monthly retainer from £4,000 a month.
How do we get existing trade customers to order online?
We plan adoption before launch rather than after it. That usually means migrating every account with its order history so nothing has to be set up again, personal invites with a simple first login, onboarding emails, and a sales team briefed to move phone and email orders across. We then track which accounts are ordering online and follow up the ones that are not.
Ready to make B2B ordering easier for your customers and your team?
If your current sales process relies too heavily on manual ordering, disconnected systems or customer journeys that no longer support the way your business sells, Rococo can help you plan a stronger B2B eCommerce platform.
